Mad Men = Mad Fashion

Mad Men. Mad Men. Mad Men. Who doesn't love a more polished look every now and then? Even a die hard t-shirt, jeans and Converse girl like myself is feeling the pull of a more grownup-ish look due in part to the Mad Men craze....plus it's too much fun to play with red lipstick.

vintage 50s/60s Black Beaded Cocktail Dress will be in the store soon....so start picking out your red lipstick

The Good News

So here are some of the pieces that we just listed on the old ebay last night. The auctions will be running for 7 days and we have lowered some of our shipping costs a wee bit. We are getting a new batch ready now and they are slated for this Thursday (I say with my fingers crossed).

Gorgeous 1940's rayon cocktail dress with removable cape. This is my favorite one. The pleating is and asymmetrical styling. Plus the cape is fun to play with. It can be worn around the shoulders, or tied around the waist for a kind of peplum style. The label is Paul Sachs Original. An interesting look at models from this period with Janine Pons, a Paris model from 1948-1950

80's LF Petite secretary dress.
Super cute ruffles & checks dress. Pictured with the cape from the Paul Sachs dress too.

Simple jersey tank dress w/ silver tone buttons up the bodice. This one is super comfy.

80's black bodysuit with cutout shoulders. What more can I say?

70's Bleeker Street hippie dress.
Sheer gauzy fabric with floral/paisley print, a super pretty piece. I have special soft spot for paisleys.
